Mission Statement
The SAE Aero Advanced Class Competition involves designing and building a cargo plane to simulate remotely dropping “humanitarian aid packages” onto a target zone from 100ft. The telemetry system monitors the altitude, acceleration, speed, and location data which provide information on aircraft performance. The system also increases package dropping accuracy by providing target viewing from an on board camera.
