The Laboratory for Electrical Engineering and Music Research (or “Phasor Lab”) is a venue for high-level projects and research at the interface of Electrical Engineering and Music. We offer unique opportunities for musicians to enrich their understanding of their instruments using techniques based on Electrical Engineering practices and for EE majors to incorporate sound into their technical studies. The laboratory is located in the new Peter Irving Wold Center and was designed by architectural acoustics consultants Walters Storyk Design Group.
