Union College is located in the city of Schenectady in New York’s Capital District 25 minutes west of Albany. It is 10 miles and 20 minutes from the Albany Airport and easily accessible from the Amtrak train station in Schenectady. If you are driving, click here to view maps and directions. 

Hotel Information: 

We have a block of hotels set aside at the Hampton Inn, 450 State Street, Schenectady, NY 12305. Please call 518-377-4500 to make a reservation and be sure to mention the Union College ELE Symposium or use the group code UCS (group rate is valid through May 1, 2019). Shuttle Information:

We will have a shuttle that runs from the Symposium Hotel (details above) to campus on both symposium days. The shuttle will make several trips throughout the hour beginning with the times indicated.

Parking Information:

On Friday and Saturday, attendees can park in any of the parking lots that are open to visitors: Visitor Parking Lots (marked in purple). The lots that are most convenient for the Wold Center are those along East Lane and Alexander Lane.
