On Saturday, sisters of Delta Delta Delta Beta Psi took on the Saratoga Beerfestival with the best food on four wheels, the Wandering Dago. To benefit our philanthropy, St. Jude, the Dago graciously offered to put out a donation bucket in exchange for sisters volunteering at the event to help prepare and serve the food. In just the two hours that I spent helping the awesome owners, Andrea and Brandon, we had raised a little over $50 for St. Jude! The festival was packed and the line for Dago’s mouthwatering pulled pork, brisket, pork bellies and mashed potatoes was constantly present. It was sa great way to spend my Saturday afternoon – community service, good food and even better people!

If you are unfamiliar with the Wandering Dago, it is a food truck that recently made an appearance on Union’s campus last fall, and I hope to God it never leaves during my time at Union. Not only is the food unbelievable, but the people who run it are just as fun! Late night on the weekends, you can find the Dago parked on Frat Row, ready to feed as many hungry Dutchmen and women as possible. It has become a staple and student-favorite here on campus, and for very good reason. To learn more about some of Dago’s recent efforts to collaborate with the College, check out the article above (click the pic) from last week’s Concordy!

And don’t forget to check out the Dago on Twitter, @WanderingDago!
