We changed the meeting time to Monday afternoons, seeing as I get more work done over the weekend. I managed to get some data over the last week and we discussed how to possibly compile it and create a visual representation. I will be working more with the magnetometer this week, trying to figure out if the device always knows which way is “down.” I will be changing the phrasing of a part of my project from here on out: the phrase “learning” conductor will be changed to “Student” conductor, as this is more specific. A large portion of the work this week will be dedicated to understanding how to collect and compile data from the board in either Arduino software or MATLAB. I will download the language “processing” and explore it. I will attempt to gather some conducting data this week as well. Lastly, I will fill out the department form for funding and purchasing components.
