2016 Senior Capstone Project – The household waste tracking system will generate vital waste production data that could help local government and waste management services provide an economic incentive for responsible practices such as single stream recycling and composting, as well as help waste management companies optimize their trash services. This system will ultimately be capable of producing data in a database and graphic representation through a web-based service that is easy for individuals, local governments, and waste-management companies to understand.
