Manny is a local freelance outdoor photographer. He has spent countless days and nights wandering around and basking in the beauty of the Adirondack State Park in New York. For him, landscape photography is not just a means for documenting moments, but rather a way to feel and artistically interpret landscapes. He is fascinated with night, twilight and astrophotography, and he is constantly pushing photography to its technical limits.

“The reason I love landscape photography is that a landscape is an inviting living space. Landscapes compel us to interpret them and to feel them without any previous knowledge or background. Like gravity, landscapes have a tendency to ground us and to show us our little place in the Universe. I believe it is this profound connection to landscapes that brings us together in contemplation. In the words of Barry Lopez, ‘Landscape is the culture that contains all human cultures.'”– Manny Palacios
