Data Analytics Minor

Data analytics minor prepares students for a data-driven world.  It teaches students how to acquire, analyze, interpret and visualize data. It includes applications in a wide range of disciplines, including biology, economics, environmental science, business, history, languages and political science.

The minor requires six courses: one introductory computer science course, one statistics course, CSC 233 Data Analytics, CSC 234 Data visualization, and two electives. The curriculum is summarized below:
