College is a time to grow up.

 

In addition to all that a young person absorbs in class, most students are learning how to be an adult. That means learning to accept consequences, like if you don’t study, you fail.

 

Some students, unfortunately, believe they can cheat the system. That they don’t have to do the work if they don’t feel like it.

 

Even an esteemed institution like Harvard University is not immune, as 125 students were recently caught collaborating on a take-home exam. Students shared answers or plagiarized on a final for “Introduction to Congress.”
