What’s on Display? (2018-2019)

Currently, the departmental research display case showcases the research of Professor Leila Khatami. Her research is mainly in the field of commutative algebra, a branch of abstract algebra that developed in the nineteenth century from algebraic geometry, number theory and invariant theory, and studies algebraic structures called commutative rings and modules over them.
