Admissions seeks faculty to teach two-hour simulated
classes on Saturday, Aug. 5, in a program aimed at recruiting local
minority high schoolers.
The classes are part of a “Pre-College Camp”
on August 4 through 6. The program is supported by grants from the New
York State and National Associations for Admissions Counseling.
Participants will get a taste of college life through
simulated classes and sessions on the admissions process, course schedules
and time management. The program also links participants with students in
the Science and Technology Entry Program and Summer Science Workshop.
