Junior goaltender Jessica Wells (Hoosick Falls, NY/Hoosic
Falls) was named the UCAA's “Goalkeeper of the Week” as she
kicked out a total of 25 shots. Her best performance of the week came last Saturday when Wells stopped seven
shots in a 3-2 double overtime victory over Gordon College. Wells
also had a dozen saves against Middlebury College. Wells, who has
played every minute between the pipes so far this year, has a goals
against average of 2.31 and a save percentage of .734.
