In the summer of 2003, the women's soccer team traveled to England to play various soccer clubs and tour the country. It has now become a tradition that every three years the team travels to a new place in Europe for this wonderful opportunity, allowing each player on the team to be on at least one trip during the course of their Union College soccer career. This summer the seniors, juniors, and sophomores traveled to France, Italy, and Switzerland for 11 days before returning to Schenectady for preseason and to meet the incoming freshmen, who will travel to a different place in Europe during the summer before their senior year in 2006.
