Union will begin the home stretch of the 2003-2004 season on
the road this weekend, playing at Vermont and Dartmouth. The Dutchmen
have ten games remaining, with six of those coming on the road. The
Dutchmen own a 2-6-2 record against their remaining opponents, and will
be looking to position themselves for home ice in the first round of the
ECAC playoffs. To do so, the Dutchmen will need to overtake at least two
teams, as they are three full games out of hosting in the first round.
Union will go for six in a row against the Catamounts, who own a 14-9-2
all-time series record against Union. The Dutchmen and Big Green have
split their last five games, each team winning twice, and tying once.
Dartmouth holds a 16-11-1 all-time record against Union. The Dutchmen
concluded their non-conference play with a 6-4-2 record, defeating
Sacred Heart at home on Friday, 4-3 in overtime.
