Psychology Research Practicum

The Psychology Research Practicum experience allows students to become involved in psychological research early in their careers at Union College, under the supervision of a member of the Psy Dept. Duties may include: surveying the literature in an area, designing or testing research materials, interacting with research participants, collecting & analyzing data.

Internships – General Information

To provide students with practical experience, the department offers a number of internships that can be completed for independent study credit. Recently, students have worked in a center for autistic children, a battered women´s shelter, advertising agencies, biofeedback clinics, employee assistance programs, residential facilities for emotionally disturbed children & a suicide phone line.
