In summer 2015, ITS enhanced the Nexus community user experience as a part of our annual system upgrade. This workshop serves as a broad overview of the exciting new features available in Nexus (Moodle 2.8), including a cleaner, more user-friendly interface with several added features.

Come and learn:
how to use the the new Course Overview front page of Nexus that allows easier, streamlined control of the courses you want visible on the home page;
how to annotate and return submitted PDF files that have been submitted by students without ever having to download their files; changes to the Gradebook, including a Single View report and Natural Weighting aggregation; the new Auto-save function, available in the default “Atto” text editor; “Universal Design” and “Accessibility” considerations, to create equal and flexible learning materials that any student, regardless of need, can utilize; and other simple tips and tricks!
