About Me

My name is Catherine Kennedy. I am a Senior Electrical Engineering major at Union College.  The purpose of Project UWash is to provide members of third world countries with a source of usable electricity. This is a renewable energy project converting the mechanical energy generated by hand washing laundry into stored electrical energy. The overall goal of this project is to charge an LED flashlight.
