New Orleans, 1947.  In an oppressive, storm-strewn world, everyone’s “heat” is up in the animalistic night. Elysian Fields is anything but an arcadian place of respite for the frail and crumbling Blanche DuBois.
The raw street life and the rampant desires between Stanley and Stella cannot be softened by any “shimmer and glow” that Blanche tries desperately to color this harsh world with.
