Thanks to a partnership with GLOBALFOUNDRIES, we are able to offer summer research opportunities to Union students on-campus during the summer of 2019.
Project proposals for the GLOBALFOUNDRIES Fellowship should investigate topics relating to advanced materials and/or nanotechnology. Preference will be given to projects with relevance to the semiconductor industry.
To apply, please use the online application form, and check the appropriate box indicating that the proposed research is eligible. The research proposal should include a brief section explaining how the proposed research is connected to advanced materials, nanotechnology, and the semiconductor industry.
The Undergraduate Research Committee will select students for the fellowships from the pool of self-identified applicants. Students who are considered for the GF fellowship but not selected will automatically be considered for ordinary college-funded research fellowships.
