In recent years there has been a vast shift into research on efficiently moving away from the main power grid. This research fascinated and motivated me to create a project that would successfully integrate sustainable energy into a working microgrid. Microgrids are a great new and upcoming segment in the energy industry. It represents a shift from the larger more in-depth power system to a more localized and easier to shape power distribution. The control to move away from the larger grid makes microgrids resilient and flexible. Microgrids provide efficient, low-cost, clean energy, to improve the operation and stability of the electric grid.
