- Run tests for a decent length of time to get enough data to look for odd behavior.
- See if arducopter can log external inputs
- Find Hedrick and ask about XBee
- Antenna recommendations too
- Compare widely available antennas and emission patterns
- Select appropriate one for each application in project
RSSI Testing: Antennas delivered today, will pick up tomorrow and start testing this week. Receiver is wired to output RSSI and Particle Photon code made to stream to serial. Need to write a quick Python script to log it all, possibly display live because why not.
Arducopter logging: Yes, but depends on inputs. It can log inputs to its RC channels easily, so PWM. Logging something like serial from an Arduino would mean modifying and compiling the Arducopter firmware myself, not out of the question.
Hedrick: Emailed again but I have slacked on actually trying to find him. Will attempt to find him by the end of the week.
Antennas: Done and chosen in most recent post. Will email to Lisa tomorrow.
