I’m Bailey and I am currently a Senior at Union College in Schenectady, NY. Sadly, my senior year has been cut short on campus but I am current in an online course called, Exploring HealthCare. On campus we would have gone into different healthcare facilities and volunteered. By doing this we would have been able to explore different areas in the healthcare profession in the Schenectady area. Since COVID-19 happened and moving courses to online my professor came up with the great idea of exploring our own community’s healthcare instead. To do this we started by defining what is health and have been learning about what determines the health of a community. This blog will hold my findings and thought on my community’s healthcare. I will then try to tie in how COVID-19 had impacted these resources. Welcome to my Blog!
