Photographs from Wales and Ireland
Wales… and a few from Ireland. We’ve had two trips to Wales and one to Ireland. Here’s a few remembrances from both trips.
When we went to Ireland, I was using only black and white film. For our second trip to Wales, I was into digital color photography. Ireland is a beautiful green country, but the green aspect doesn’t show here.

Pembrokshire Trail, Wales. This trail runs along the coast
for miles and miles. On this very pretty Sunday afternoon,
I couldn’t resist being there.
Standing stone, St. Nunn’s, Wales.
This is the (mythical) birthplace of St. David.
Cathedral at St. Davids, Wales
Bodnant Gardens, Wales.
A beautiful place to visit.
Tinturn Abbey, Wales. Can you imagine what it must have
looked like when the roofs were on, the windows were
full of glass, and the monks were going to and fro?

These large Celtic crosses are “story books”,
full of biblical illustrations.
