President Ainlay, 2006-2018, initiated The Green Grant Program to provide up to eight grants a year, up to $2,000 each, for grassroots environment sustainability projects. The grants are open to faculty, staff and students. Ainley made sustainability one of the key priorities of the College’s Strategic Plan.

 

President David Harris, the current College President continues that tradition and says that,“We have a commitment as an institution to sustainability and the issues around global climate change. But a lot of what we do is about individuals taking the initiative.”
