My name is Jeffrey Wettstein and I am a senior ECE student at Union College in Schenectady, NY. My interest in water metering developed at an internship. My supervisor, Carrie McLaughlin, turned me on to an Engineers Without Borders project in Venecia, Nicaragua. After some discussions with Carrie and her colleagues, we determined a useful project would be to help gather water metering data. The data would be used to help reduce water consumption.
