Research Interests

My primary research interests lie in the fields of environmental geology, geomorphology, glacial geology, and paleoclimatology.  I am currently investigating microplastic pollution in the Mohawk Watershed of upstate New York.  Recently I have been involved in research into post-glacial landsliding in the San Juan Mountains and development of river terraces in the Rio Grande watershed of southern Colorado.  Previously I used cosmogenic dating to determine the age of glacial deposits in the Peruvian Andes, which allowed me to establish the timing of glacial advances and to infer the nature of associated climatic changes.
