During week 2 I read Joey’s user manual and looked at his MatLab code. I also read through the newly released 2016 SAE Aero competition rules to determine what had changed from last years rules. I have begun to research transmitter/receiver pairs on RC forums and telemetry systems that include altitude data which do not operate on 2.4GHz (not allow in competition). It seems like many of the plug and play devices operate on 2.4GHz so I will have to search for alternatives at 900MHz since the camera system operates at 5.8GHz.
