During week 6 I sent in a request for the Data Acquisition Parts using Student Research Grant money. I ordered an Arduino Uno, two XBee Pro 900’s, an altitude sensor, microSD card shield, and the various other parts needed to piece the aforementioned components together. I also wrote the letter to the EcE department to request funding. Since I do not have my final parts yet I have been researching the XBee transmitters/receivers and how to configure and use them. I have also downloaded the Arduino libraries for the various sensors I plan to use and started to look at them to see what functions will be used in my final code.
