During this meeting, Professor Dosiek and I discussed the contents of my defense presentation. I discussed my research on various ICAD articles where engineers completed audfication/sonification of data. I shared a quote from one of the papers and he suggested that I include the quote in my presentation. The quote discussed how fluctuations in sonified data can be much more easily processed by the average person then in the raw signal data. Professor Dosiek suggested that I aim for ten slides since the presentation is 10 minutes long. The main areas for content he suggested I focus on are project description, project importance, approaches to project, potential road blocks/how to overcome them, and the sounds of sesimic example audified seismograph data.
