During this weekly meeting, I decided to make my project completely software based. The project originally was going to incorporate a micro-controller for the generation of MIDI signals to be played through a audio synthesizer. After careful consideration I decided to have the system be completely software base since it would be free to implement and much more efficient. The algorithm will be completely written in MATLAB. Professor Dosiek created a new folder for my project in the raspberry pi and asked that I edit the voltage capture code so that it would generate text files containing the frequency, and voltage magnitude data individually. He also asked that I import the generated text files into MATLAB and plot the captured signals over the recored time period.
