To conclude our final week of Fall Term, Professor Dosiek and I put a specific plan together for our goals for Winter Break. The most time-consuming part of this project will be determining the best combination of algorithms to implement in our classification system. This process with consist of constructing a unique feature space for each combination of algorithms and then running them through a machine learning classifier in order to determine the overall accuracy of that classification system. So, the largest task for the beginning of my Winter Break will be developing a Matlab script that allows my other team members to easily construct the different combinations of feature spaces over the rest of our collective Winter Breaks as well. Thus, at the end of this Winter Break, we will hopefully have our final classifier system put together in order to be right on track to meet the first competition deadline on January 21st, 2018.
