Winter 2019

The winter term consisted of finalizing the design prototype from the fall and deciding what was actually going to be included in the final device. One large change made was the decision to drop the focus on the receiver circuitry, due to time constraints, which allowed me more time to focus on making the pulser circuitry function appropriately. In the winter, primary design choices included the internal oscillation method, how to deliver appropriate voltage levels to various components, and how to house the overall device. The circuit designed in the fall was improved upon and the whole device was put together just before the end of Week Eight. At the end of Week Eight, the ECE-499 class gave presentations to the rest of the department. A poster/demo session was held at the beginning of Week Ten. Lastly, I updated the previous term’s paper with the findings and results of this term.
