In the fall term, I began preliminary design and testing. I used the components already available in the department and designed a pulser prototype, just to begin to get familiar with the way the final device would work. I also applied for and obtained SRG funding, researching various components throughout the term. Toward the end of the term, the senior class presented their projects during a common hour poster session. Finally, I wrote a report on my work over the term, including my preliminary results.
