LGBTQ at Union, the fifth annual exhibition of LGBTQ-themed artwork, will be on view in the Wikoff Student Gallery from May 9th through June 16th, 2013. This year’s exhibition includes pieces by both students and alumni, working in painting, photography, film, and rap performance.

“LGBTQ” is an acronym used to refer to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning community. The LGBTQ at Union annual exhibition provides an opportunity for members of the Union community, (students, faculty, staff, and alumni) to submit artwork reflecting a thoughtful interpretation of this theme. While sharing their own perspectives, the artists included in this year’s exhibition also bring awareness to the LGBTQ community and experience at Union College.

This exhibition was co-sponsored by the Schaffer Library.

This year’s artists are: Melanie Gonzalez ’13 , Sari Greenberg ’13, AJ Nadel ’56, Drew Romano ’14, Shanna Saldaña ’14, Andy Stinchfield ’13, Elite Williams ’13, Deanna Zembrzuski ’14, Pengfei Zhang ’13.
