My Trip To India

During the winter of her sophomore year Sara Jacobson, Class of 2010, traveled to India using her camera as a tool for exploration. The collection of photographs in the wryly titled My Trip to India focus on the experiences encountered on both an intimate and grand scale – from capturing the sensory experience fragrant and sticky native cuisine to close-up candid portraits of locals in the countryside to the grand architecture and dramatic sprawling landscapes of the city. As a collection, Jacobson’s vibrant photographs beautifully capture the emotive sensory experience of India.
