Several staff changes are taking place in the Office of College Relations.
Dan C. West, vice president for college relations, said the changes reflect an effort to reallocate and reorganize personnel already on the College's staff.
Staff members and their new titles are:
- Debra Balliet, director of development with responsibility for all fundraising activities;
- Paul Rieschick '74, director of administration and senior development officer;
- Mike Smiles, director of capital gifts, and Mandy Mason, capital gifts officer.
- Hayl Kephart will direct the combined Annual Fund and Alumni Affairs Programs. Perry Goff Buroker is the associate director and Catherine Deathe, Mike Lynch, and Alison Brust are assistant directors.
- Jane Zacek, associate dean for graduate and continuing education, will become director of foundation support.
- Helen Madden, associate director for special events, conferences and professional development, is the new director of corporate support and conferences.
Vincent DeBaun '47 plans to retire June 30 as director of corporate and foundation support. Bruce Downsbrough '75, director of development, and Sally Webster, major gifts officer, have taken positions at other institutions.
