Richard Steinwurtzel `72 on his pledge to support the restoration of the Schaffer Library: “As a Union student, and now as an attorney, I value the resources of an excellent library. Union is taking the right steps to renew its academic centerpiece. The library renovation and expansion plans are the right combination of technology, design, and study space. The facility will be vastly improved for use by Union students and faculty. I hope others will join me
in pledging to this important project.” Mr. Steinwurtzel is a partner with Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson in Washington, D.C. and New York City and has recently been appointed to the College's Trustee Board of Advisors.
