More than 20 student organizations are hosting events in “Dialogues
on Race,” a month-long series of discussions aimed at fostering diversity at Union.
Events opened this week with a kick-off featuring the reading of
narratives on race issues submitted by members of the campus community, said Linda Patrik,
chair of the Multicultural Advisory Group.
Coordinated by MAG, Student Forum and Peer Facilitators,
“Dialogues” continues through the month. Athletic teams already have been
holding sessions. The committee invites faculty and staff to schedule discussions the last
two weeks of April.
