Proctor's Too presents The
Shoulder, on Friday, Jan. 15, and Saturday, Jan. 16, at 8:02 p.m. in the Yulman
Theater. This “chamber opera” musically chronicles an elderly farmer who rides
his mowing tractor 250 miles across Iowa and through rural America to see his ailing
brother. Using just three actors, the play reflects on the pain of aging, the passing of
small-town life, and the beauty of moving slowly in a fast world. Tickets are $15, $10 for
students.
