We say farewell this week to a colleague who is
leaving the Office of Communications to start another chapter in his
career.
Saul Morse, the College's Webmaster for the last two
years, has overseen a major redesign of the site that grew the number of
Web pages from 3,000 in 1998 to 27,000 today. During the same period, the
number of hits has increased from 3.5 million to more than 13 million.
During his tenure, the site was ranked by HotBot as the
third most-searched-for college in the country. There were also site
awards from Kaplan, CollegeTours.com and others.
Saul, before you go, can you tell us how to FTP the
server?
