Philosopher Susan Haack, Cooper Senior Scholar in
Arts and Sciences at the University of Miami and the visiting
Spencer-Leavitt Professor, will offer a series of seminars and public
lectures over the next week and a half.

Haack is the author of five books and numerous articles
on philosophy of logic and language, epistemology and philosophy of
science, metaphysics, pragmatism, and feminism.

Her visit is sponsored by the Spencer-Leavitt fund and
the philosophy department.
