Sophomore Corinn Jordan (New Hyde Park, NY/Herricks) and Audrey
Brennan (Cooperstown, NY/Cooperstown)were both selected to the
Upstate Collegiate Athletic Association's All-Conference team by a vote of
the league's coaches. Jordan was also selected to the UCAA's
All-Tournament Team after helping the Dutchwomen finish third in the
championship event last weekend at St. Lawrence. Union beat St.
Lawrence and Clarkson in the five-team event while losing to Vassar and
defending champion Skidmore. Vassar finished second with St.
Lawrence taking fourth.
Jordin, who had a pair of double-doubles against
St. Lawrence and Clarkson (double digit kills and digs) finished the
tournament with 52 kills, 57 digs and four aces. Brennan, who had a
double-double against St. Lawrence, Vassar and Clarkson, had 58 kills and
47 digs.
Their 2-2 record in the UCAA championship left
the Dutchwomen with an overall record of 13-6 under first-year head coach
Sandy Collins.
