Junior Audrey Brennan (No. 5) helped lead the Dutchwomen to their first state berth since 1196.

The volleyball team, under first-year head coach Sandy Collins, earned a spot in this weekend's New York State Women's Collegiate Athletic Association tournament at Vassar College. The Dutchwomen, who finished the regular season at 18-12, are seeded 11th in the 12-team event. This is Union's first appearance in postseason play since 1996.

The Dutchwomen opened the season by winning their first-ever Vassar Tournament and posting eight wins in their first 10 matches. They closed the year by three of their final four.

Sophomore Corrin Jordan (New Hyde Park, NY/Herricks) finished the regular season as the team leader in Kills (352) and finished second in Digs (288). Sarah Pontius (Oneonta, NY/Oneonta) led the team in both Assists (950) and service aces (53) while junior Audrey Brennan (Cooperstown, NY/Cooperstown) was first in Digs (329) and second in Kills (316) and Assists (125).
