Senior Missy Matusewicz
Named Second-Team All-American.

Senior soccer standout Melissa “Missy” Matusewicz became the first Dutchwomen ever to be named All-American as she was named to the National Soccer Coaches Athletic Association/Adidas Second-Team.

Matusewicz, a native of Florence, Massachusetts, and a graduate of Northampton High School, will graduate in June holding ever single Union College game, season and career scoring record. The four-year starter, who played in all 72 games of her career, scored 69 goals, 23 assists and 161 points while leading the Dutchwomen to an overall record of 56-11-5.

Matusewicz, who earlier this year was named “co-Player of the Year” in the Upstate Collegiate Athletic Association, helped Union capture back-to-back New York State Women's Collegiate Athletic Association championships while spearheading the Dutchwomen's appearance in the last two NCAA Division III national championship tournaments.
