  1. The minutes of the Nov. 6, 2000 and Jan. 8, 2001 AAC meetings were approved.

  2. The AAC discussed the proposed WAC changes. The discussion was tabled until the Writing Board has a chance to review its implementation.

  3. The committee reviewed and rewrote a memo, which will be sent to the faculty, on submitting their suggestions for general improvements to the trimester system.

  4. The external Evaluation Report on the Department of Political Science was distributed to the committee. Chair Terry Weiner will meet with the committee next week.
