Junior guard Katie Smith (Delmar, NY/Bethlehem) became the fifth member of the Dutchwomen's 1,000-point club last Friday when she scored 22 points in Union's 55-52 win at Clarkson.
Smith now has 1,027 points and is looking to pass Amy Hitz, Class of 1997, who has 1,088. Robin Romer, Class of 1992, leads the club with 1,738 points Katie is also a three-year starter for the soccer team and goes into her final year second on the all-time scoring list with 35-14-84. Missy Matusewicz, Class of 2001, leads the pack with 69-23-161.
