Campus Safety and the Schenectady police present
a bicycle safety program on Saturday, April 27, from 1 to
4 p.m., on Library Field.
Sponsored by Fleet Boston, the program will offer
safety inspections, minor adjustments and repairs, riding
demonstrations, skills tests, refreshments and prizes.
Campus officer Robert Tomeck said the event
also provides an opportunity for Campus Safety and
Schenectady police to interact with local youth and their families.
Participants are required to wear helmets, and a
limited number of helmets will be available for use and given
away at the end of the program.
All officers have completed state training. First aid will be
on-site.
