Chalmers C. Clark, visiting assistant professor in philosophy, will spend next year as a visiting scholar at the Ethics Institute of the American Medical Association (AMA) in Chicago. During his residency he will conduct research on the topic of “Medicine, Trust, and the `Basic Structure of Society'.” He also will lead a series of seminars for the Ethics Standards unit of the AMA and be available to the staff of the Council on Ethical and Judicial Affairs (CEJA) as well as the Ethics Resource Center staff. Other activities include availability for AMA fellows' seminars and preparing and teaching an online ethics course.
