Kris Mayotte

Freshman goaltender Kris Mayotte (Finleyville, PA) stopped 32 of the 34 shots he faced in helping the Dutchmen win their first game of the season and even their record at 1-1-1. Mayotte finished the game with a save percentage of .937. He kicked out all 14 shots he faced in the second period while helping Union finish with a 4-1 advantage after the first 40 minuts. Mayotte was critical to the Dutchmen's penalty-kill team, which stopped all five Niagara powerplay opportunities, including three in the second period.

Mayotte came to Union from the Sioux City Musketeers of the USHL, helping the Musketeers win the 2002 league championship. He finished that season with a 2.57 goals against average and a .910 save percentage.

Senior center Kris Goodjohn (Calgary, Alberta) was named to the “Honor Roll.” The center on the line that includes Mardc Neron, and Brian Kerr, Goodjohn had two assists and leads the Dutchmen in scoring.
