On October 12, 2002, Union inducted five members into its newly created Athletic Hall of Fame. More than 200 attended the dinner to honor Sigmund “Sig” Makofski (Class of 1926), Ken Whalen ('49), Jim Tedisco ('72), Rich Romer ('88), and Robin Romer-Chudy ('92.)
